Stellantis blijft actief in Rusland en doet alles om de autofabriek te laten draaien tijdens de oorlog in Oekraïne. Carlos Taveres verklaart dit met de volgende woorden: 'Als verdeeldheid het tegenovergestelde is van globalisering, dan leidt verdeeldheid tot egoïsme, isolationisme en uiteindelijk ook tot oorlog.' In de sectie wordt nu veel aandacht gegeven aan de cijfers die ze wel hebben en staat in de laatste regerls dat lang nite alles erin staat. Dat maakt de hele passage niet zo representatief. De meeste emissies zitten in 'use of products' categorie. We kunnen wel een ruwe schatting geven op basis van het aantal verkochte auto's. Als dat 8 miljoen is, en de uitstoot van een benzine auto is 50 ton over de hele levensduur (https://decorrespondent.nl/6601/waarom-de-elektrische-auto-nu-al-groener-rijdt-maar-er-betere-argumenten-zijn-om-over-te-stappen/694075842075-4e3a4cf5). Dan hebben we het over een zo'n 400 megaton. Kortom, de cijfers die Stellantis, of beter, hun voorgangers aanleveren zijn bijzonder incompleet en missen de belangrijkste categorieën. Namelijk daar waar de meeste uitstoot zit.
 
Onder climate policies is mij onduidelijk over welke scope Stellantis 50% reductie wil.
 
In de conclusie:
"It is unclear if the emission and targets set by PSA and FCA will be enough to reduce their CO2 emissions and keep them within the 2 degrees." Volgens mij is het wel duidelijk dat ze geen 1,5 graden gaan halen.
 
"This on its own is not enough to create such a large reduction in CO2 emissions."
Dit klopt denk ik wel, maar het is niet te zien hoe je aan die conclusie komt.
